Living through our mission statement: Connecting People to Jesus Christ and to Each Other

Worship is essential to the life of our congregation. We value our traditional service of Bible-based messages. We gather together to praise God through scripture and music. In person and Live-streamed Sundays – 10:30 am

Learning is an important part of our growth in Jesus Christ. Our weekly Wednesday Bible study, noon in person and online at 6 pm, encourages members and visitors to connect with God and each other more personally and deeply. Studying scripture, encouraging questions, honoring opinions, and relating personal experiences as a group helps us to develop a stronger biblical foundation.

Fellowship and mission opportunities allow us to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with our members, visitors, and community. Join us each Sunday in our Fellowship Cafe before church and attend one of our community events. Through collections and donations we strive to help those in need by supporting local nonprofit organizations.  Monthly and seasonal opportunities available.

Join us in serving the Lord with gladness as a Christ-centered community – Your Neighborhood Church!

How May We Pray For You?

We at SJE strongly believe in the power of prayer.  We believe that prayer is not a last resort, but a best practice and a first choice in the best of times, in the hardest of times, and in all the times in between.  In the Bible, we have God’s promise that He will hear us and He will answer us when we call out to Him.

Every Sunday morning, time is set aside during worship to lift up prayer requests as well as words of thanks and praise to our Heavenly Father.  If you have anything that you would like for us to include in this time of prayer, please let us know by emailing us using the link provided here:  office@stjohnseast.org
